A good credit score can save you thousands of dollars over the life of an automobile loan or mortgage, making the goal of good credit extremely important. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) provides many resources for consumers, including information pertaining to Understanding Your Credit Report and Understanding Vehicle Financing.

We report information about your account to the three major credit reporting agencies: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Errors in the information on your credit report can occur and can affect your credit score. If you believe information reported by Credit Acceptance Corporation to a credit reporting agency is inaccurate, or if you want to dispute inaccurate information, you may notify us of the inaccuracy or submit a notice of dispute to us in writing at the address listed below:

In order for us to efficiently investigate a dispute, we recommend that you complete the Consumer Report Direct Dispute Form and mail it to the address noted in the form.
